Cognos Developer

NexZen has an exciting opportunity for a Cognos Developer at our corporate location. The ideal candidate will conduct hands-on analysis and development of Cognos BI 10.2.1. This position will develop and implement Business Intelligence solutions.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant field or position.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience with two or more of the following IBM Cognos 10 components:

  • Report Studio, Data Manager, Framework Manager and/or Transformer
  • Experience performance tuning large report results
  • Experience with Netezza and/or Oracle databases, SQL Server
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts in a dimensional large data warehouse environment

    Position Responsibilities

  • Develop Tableau reports and dashboards as well as schedule extracts
  • Tune Tableau server and troubleshoot the initial setup
  • Build sustainable solutions in Tableau using different data sources like Oracle, Data warehouse, Hadoop, etc.
  • Develop and follow best practices in setting up users, groups and permissions in Tableau
  • Provide education about the architecture and use of Tableau to customers

    Cisco Networking Engineer

    NexZen is looking for a qualified Networking Engineer with 1-3 years experience as follows:

    PRIOR EXPERIENCE

    A minimum of 1-3 years experience in a relevant.

    Position Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for clients of NexZen technologies
  • Work with NexZen partners and clients and other products in a state of the art network
  • Work with and learn from other leading networking engineers
  • Troubleshoot complex, challenging problems.
  • Work towards high-level certifications in Cisco, VMware or Microsoft.

    NexZen is seeking a qualified business analyst with minimum 3+ years experience with following abilities .

    Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct business process reviews to understand business processes and how underlying applications and data support or enable related processes
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify, assess and refine functional requirements, translating them into detailed technical requirements
  • Document pertinent information related to the requirements; prepare gap and impact analysis
  • Provide guidance and direction to developers regarding functional requirements; mentor other IT resources on BAI Partner with QA lead to identify testing requirements
  • Proactively identify opportunities to utilize current or innovative technical solutions to improve business processes and/or products that provide additional revenue, cost savings or efficiency gains
